The city of Málaga has become a real City of Museums. During this last decade, an overwhelming museum offer has been developed, turning the city into a world-class cultural destination thanks to an ever-growing range of options.

The cultural transformation of Málaga started taking shape in the year 2003 with the opening of the Center of Contemporary Art (CAC), and became even more powerful when the Centre Pompidou Málaga, stemming from its Parisian parent, was inaugurated in 2015. It will be much more so when the historic Customs building opens its doors as the Fine Arts Museum.
